The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAFF) was the Government Department responsible for agriculture and farming, horticulture and fisheries. It also had some responsibilities for environmental and rural issues. In 2001 it became part of the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) and is responsible for looking after environmental protection, the countryside, animal welfare, food and farming.

Twentieth century advertising and servicing publications of 21 agricultural engineering firms, mainly for harvesting machinery. Films mainly educational, made for farmers, showing latest contemporary techniques and best agricultural practices, 1930s-1980’s.
