Dr Nicola Gardini	Research interests centre on the Latin and Greek legacy, the Renaissance, comparative poetry, the interrelatedness of stylistics and national identity, the formation of canons and traditions. Nicola Gardini is currently writing a book on omission in literature as a representational device.
