Welcome

Before you arrive

There's lots to do, so let's get started

It may seem like a long summer, but it won't be long before you are joining us here at Reading. There are some key things you need to do before you get to Reading. First, you should make sure that you've looked at our accommodation options and made financial arrangements.

Once all that's done you can start thinking about what to bring and then start making plans for your arrival...

Arrival

Making the most of arrival weekend

Arrival Weekend takes place from Friday 19 September to Sunday 21 September. This is when the majority of our students will be making their way to our campuses. We will send instructions to those of you in halls. You can start planning your journey using our travel pages.

We've lined up some events to keep you entertained over the weekend, and help you settle in to your new home.

International/EU student?

‘I chose Reading as my university because of the open and friendly atmosphere, the beautiful campus and the town around it. There is a thriving social aspect to the uni.’
