Career opportunities

Potential employers think very highly of students graduating from our BA because they have a broad range of skills, and already have some experience of designing in the real world. Most students are offered jobs before or shortly after they graduate with a variety of companies working in different fields of design including publishing, corporate identity and branding, information design, web design, and broadcasting. Others set up their own design businesses after graduation or enter careers in teaching or management. Some students move on to higher degrees including our own practice-based MAs in book, information or typeface design, or in a specialist research topic.
