Thesis title:

The impact of occupant behaviour on the energy performance of non-domestic buildings.

Project:

This research project is investigating how occupants in low carbon non-domestic buildings influence energy performance. It aims to apply theories from experimental psychology and behavioural economics to the design of buildings and their control systems to improve usability. It is also examining the concept of 'behaviour change' and aiming to develop methods to improve this approach
