Taster days (Arts and Humanities)

The outreach team will be running a number of taster days and events in areas relating to Arts and the Humanities. Upcoming events include:

Interactive lectures:  Congress to Campus

Venue: University of Reading, Whiteknights Campus

Date: Monday 5 March 2018 12.30pm - 15.30pm

Members of Congress and world leading academics will bring a fascinating insight into the most important power house in the world; offering opinions on issues and crises in the light of the first year of the presidency of Donald Trump. The event takes place with the generous support of the US Embassy & Eccles Centre for American Studies at the British Library. The format of the afternoon will be as follows:

  • Introduction and lecture on Trump's first year - University of Reading
  • Congress to Campus - in conversation and Q&A with former Congress members

We welcome bookings from school groups ( max. 10 students per school) and individual Year 12 students.
