Staff Training Mobility (STT)

Erasmus+_Staff_Training_MobilityErasmus+ can provide funds to support Reading staff (academic and non-academic) to undertake short periods of training in Europe.

The basic premise is you learn from the experiences and good practices of another European institution / organisation through the transfer of knowledge or knowhow, and gain practical skills which can transfer back to your current job at Reading.

It can involve short secondments, job-shadowing, 'study' visits and practical training. Previous participants on the programme have included:

  • Job-shadowing at a German / Swedish / Finnish partner institution (ITS )
  • Attending Staff Mobility week on a particular topic (CPEC and Library)
  • Inspection and knowledge transfer (MERL)
  • A group visit to Finland to shadow practitioners (Education)
  • Sharing best practice (HBS Careers)
  • Lab Technician exchanges (SAGE)
  • Training visit to Denmark (CSQD)
  • Student Guidance & Counselling workshop (CDTL).
  • Knowledge transfer for Teaching of languages (IWLP)
