Who can apply?

You can apply to study abroad at one of our partner institutions if: 

• You are a registered student at the University of Reading (part-time and full-time students are eligible to participate)
• Your degree programme allows you to study abroad (check your degree specification)
• You are of suitable academic standing and deemed capable of participating on a study abroad programme
• You have departmental permission to study abroad
• All study undertaken and credit accumulated is recognised by your department

You can discuss the opportunties available to you with your departmental study abroad coordinator. 

When can I go?

Undergraduate students study abroad in either the second or third year of your degree programme. When you will actually go depends on when your department will allow you to participate your degree programme and the semester dates of the partner institution where you will study.

Taught postgraduates and doctoral students are also eligible to spend part of their degree studying or undertaking research at one of our partner Universities.
