Modules for Erasmus &Study Abroad students
There are a number of modules offered which may be of interest to ERASMUS and Study Abroad students as part of your studies here at Reading. Full modules descriptions for each of these modules are available at our study abroad modules pages.
Modern Britain:
- ML1MB1 - Society and culture (autumnn term; value 5 ECTS)
- ML1MB2 - History (spring term; value 5 ECTS)
These modules have been specifically created for all ERASMUS & Study Abroad students in order to help you gain a broad-based introduction to key aspects of modern British society, culture, history and politics.
Entrepreneurship modules
- MM1F10 - Student Enterprise (autumn & spring term; value 10 ECTS)
- MM270 - Practice of Entrepreneurship (autumn term; value 10 ECTS)
- MM379 - Social Enterprise (spring term; value 10 ECTS)
These modules are available to students with an interest in business and entrepreneurship but who normally are not allowed to study Business modules due to studying in a different academic discipline. All ERASMUS & Study Abroad students are permitted select these modules, however there are limitations on the number of students who can be registered on each module.
IWLP English
LA1PE8 - IWLP English (autumn & spring term; value 10 ECTS - exam in summer term)
This module is run specifically for ERASMUS students aimed at enhancing your ability to work and study in an English speaking environment, extending your cultural awareness and gaining the confidence to express yourself more effectively in an English-speaking country.
ERASMUS students will be allowed to study IWLP English + one other IWLP module; it is not possible to study 2 IWLP modules unless one of those modules is IWLP English.
