Application deadlines

The application deadline for the 2009/10 autumn term is 1 June 2009; the deadline for spring term 20010 is 12th October 2010.

Application Process

1. Talk with your home university's international office to find out whether or not you can study abroad at the University of Reading
2. Check our study abroad module webpages and discuss your module selection with your study advisor so that the credit transfers back to your degree programme at your home university
3. Ensure that you select the correct amount of credit for your period of study
4. Your home university / study abroad consortium must officially nominate you. Students will only be able to submit their application if they have been officially nominated by their home university (Erasmus) or study abroad advisor (non-EU)
5. Complete the relevant application forms, then print and return them to Reading International Office together with any other supporting material required (please ensure you have the approval and signature of your advisor at your home university). This should be sent to:
   Erasmus & Study Abroad team, Reading International Office, The University of Reading, Whiteknights, PO Box 227, Reading, RG6 6AB
6. The Erasmus & Study Abroad team will acknowledge receipt of your application
7. In July / August you will receive an official offer letter, information about accommodation and Welcome Week information
8. We will contact you by email if there are any issues arising with your module choices. In September you will receive an electronic 'Provisional Learning Agreement' detailing the modules we are provisionally able to offer you.
