Erasmus

The University of Reading has erasmuslogonumerous ERASMUS partnerships throughout all of Europe. You can only apply to study at Reading as an ERASMUS student if:

  1. Your home university has a valid ERASMUS agreement with the University of Reading in your area of study.
  2. Your home university has nominated you as an official candidate.
  3. The University of Reading has emailed you with a username and password allowing you to apply online (you cannot complete the online application without this information)

Students should complete the online application form which includes the application and personal detail section, and module selections (learning agreement). Your application will not be processed unless you complete both sections.

Please remember that when applying you will have to submit:

  • A completed and signed application form (print after you have completed the online application form)
  • A learning agreement approved by your home university (print after you have completed the online application form)
  • A detailed transcript of your studies so far, in English, including grades (where possible)

Students intending to study Fine Art must submit with their application a selection of your most recent work (approximately 15 images) on a CD, DVD or slides.

In principle (subject to any pre-requisites and timetable restraints) students can select any module advertised on our website in the subject area of the ERASMUS exchange, as indicated on the bilateral agreement between our institutions. ERASMUS students are not permitted to study modules outside the subject area of the bilateral agreement between our institutions unless explicit consent is provided by the Study Abroad Manager and the relevant academic school / department at the University of Reading.

Please note that you are cannot be awarded a degree qualification at the University of Reading whilst studying here as an ERASMUS student.
