Computer Science and Informatics

We offer a variety of three year BSc/BEng degrees, and MEng degrees in Computer Science and Information Technology. There are also joint Computer Science degrees with Cybernetics, with Electronic Engineering and with Mathematics, and joint Information Technology degrees with Management and Economics.

In addition, the Science Faculty runs a science foundation year which can be used to obtain the necessary qualification to enter these degrees.

You can read single subject Computer Science or Information Technology or combine Computer Science with Cybernetics, Electronic Engineering or Mathematics in various joint degrees, and we offer IT combinations with BSc Information Technology with Management or  BSc Information Technology with Economics. These degrees also offer you transfereable skills such as group working, project and communication skills that employers expect. Applied variations allow students to spend a period working in industry.
