A robotic handThis course aims to combine an understanding of intelligent systems, whether technological and biological, with a knowledge of relevant modern technologies, theories and techniques; to produce good practically oriented graduates whose systems grounding allows them to work in an academic, research or industrial environment, as individuals or as part of a team. This programme is distinctive in that it gives an overview of the computational and the human aspects of intelligence.

You will obtain knowledge and understanding of:

Career prospects

Career prospects tend to be good as the course is very relevant to today's high technology society and, because the course is not dependent upon any one industry, graduates are employed in a variety of areas. Most graduates are employed in a technological capacity, either in a large company or a smaller company or consultancy; whereas others choose to further their research interests either in the School or at other Universities.
