Entry Requirements
For the MSc Cybernetics and MRes Systems Engineering to be eligible for admission, applicants must have a suitable BSc/BEng degree at a 2.1 Honours or above: such a degree will typically include science, mathematics and / or engineering.
For the and ERASMUS MUNDUS MSc in Network and e-Business Centered Computing the entry requirement is at least a 2.1 BSc degree or equivalent.
For candidates whose native language is not English, proof of competency is required. The two possible tests are: IELTS (administered by the British Council) - score of 6.5, and TOEFL - score of 590 (computer-based version 243).
For all the Research Degrees, including PhDs and the MSc by Research programmes (i.e. MSc Engineering and Information Sciences), students at the time of applications should submit an outline of their proposed research area. Entry to the Research degrees can generally be in October, January or May or each year.
