Introduction

Dr. Giuseppe Di Fatta has been a lecturer at the School of System Engineering of the University of Reading since 2006. In 2004-06, he was with the Bioinformatics and Information Mining Group at the Department of Computer and Information Science of the University of Konstanz, Germany. In 2000-04, he was with the High Performance Computing and Networking Institute of the Italian National Research Council (ICAR-CNR). In 1999, he was research fellow at the International Computer Science Institute (ICSI), University of California, Berkeley, USA.

Research Interests

His research focuses on high performance parallel and distributed computing, data mining and machine learning methods for the interactive analysis of large information repositories in the Life Sciences.
