Introduction
I am currently an AHRC/EPSRC Science and Heritage Post Doctoral Research fellow, working on a project entitled: Seeing Through Walls: discovering Europe's hidden mural paintings.
My research is designed at providing analysis of pulsed terahertz imaging systems, and signal post processing to generate numerically, and visually interpretable images. Specifically of images of paintings that have been obscured with plaster. I am interested in the use of post processing, and beam modelling to artificially increase the spatial resolution of pulsed terahertz images, and the translation of these techniques to terahertz tomography.
Other research interests include, terahertz spectroscopy, specifically of biological matter and biomolecules.
