Postgraduate Research Studentships
Students wishing to study for a PhD in Politics at Reading are eligible to apply for two sets of studentships: the University’s own Research Studentships in Social Sciences and the ESRC’s research studentships, available through the South-East Doctoral Training Centre.
The deadline for applying to both sets of studentships is 10th February, so please get in touch soon if you would like to put in an application.
The studentships are highly competitive, but applicants who have an excellent Master’s degree (or who are on track to get a good Master’s degree) and who have a strong research proposal have a good chance of success.
