Responsibilities:

Managing and promoting the UMASCS library collections, including the University rare book collections and the library of the Museum of English Rural Life held at Special Collections Services.

Qualifications:

  • MA Information and Library Studies
  • BA English Literature and Art History
Areas of Interest:

Fiona has a research interest in the art and literature of the 1890s, and at present she is researching the life and work of the artist William Thomas Horton (1864-1919).

Fiona's other areas of interest include the work of the Arts and Crafts book designer Talwin Morris, the Great Exhibition of 1851, and the life and work of the architect and designer Owen Jones.
