Papers of Roy Horniman

Roy Horniman (1868-1930) was a playwright and novelist whose original works include Israel Rank, which, after his death, became the basis for the film Kind Hearts and Coronets. As manager of the Criterion Theatre he also adapted the novels of others for the stage.

The collection consists of manuscripts and typescripts of poems, plays, both originals and adaptations, novels, short stories and articles.
