Papers of H. Malcolm Fraser
Henry Malcolm Fraser (1874-1970) was headteacher of Alleyne's Grammar School in Staffordshire. As a member of the North Staffordshire Field Club he became interested in bees and beekeeping. He was a member of the British Beekeepers' Association and later Chairman of the Central Association of Bee-keepers.
The collection contains papers relating to the history and practice of bee-keeping in Britain and abroad, including the typescript of an unpublished history of the literature of bees and bee-keeping, written by Malcolm Fraser around 1950.
Malcolm Fraser's printed books have been added to the Bee Collection.
