Interviews on campus
We are also able to arrange rooms on campus for you to interview students.

Career Management Skills
Career Management Skills is an award winning scheme at the University of Reading, which incorporates education on careers directly into undergraduate programmes. The aim of the programme is to better prepare students to cope with the demands of the workplace and so that they can be prepared when they start their careers.
As an employer, you can get involved by participating in one or more of the 3 taught sessions that the programme comprises of. This would give you the chance to support students with their career planning and indirectly promote yourself to students from those academic backgrounds you want to target.
These are some of the ways that you might choose to contribute, for example by:
- Running an exercise to develop/assess key skills (e.g. team work)
- Providing, from your staff, a recent graduate from the University of Reading to talk about their career development
- Short presentations on career opportunities in your field of expertise
- Presentation on job seeking advice (e.g. how you recruit and what you look for in a good CV)
Further information is available.
Cost: Free of charge
Headstart
We also offer employers opportunities to run "skills based" or vocational workshops through our centralised skills workshop programme, Headstart. Typically, employers use their expertise in areas such as interview technique or writing effective application forms, but we also welcome talks on topics such as leadership, teamwork etc.
Benefits from greater publicity than separately organised events, but must be organised a term in advance.
Cost: Free of charge
