| 1. To evaluate
the generic spatial and temporal structure of the secondary
context archaeological resource (British Lower and Middle
Palaeolithic periods).
2. To produce an interpretive framework for the future interrogation
of the secondary context archaeological resource.
3. To disseminate the results of the research project to
the aggregates industry and the general public.
4. To encourage strategic planning for the future management,
protection and recording of the terrestrial aggregate resource.
