On Friday 30 September, three long standing lecturers; Dr Mike Lewis, Dr Bernard Mackey and Mr Andrew Wilbey retired from the Department of Food & Nutrition Sciences after 35, 28 and 12 years service respectively. A retirement party was held on Friday 7 October to thank them for their hard work and commitment to teaching and research, as well as collaboration with industry and other universities worldwide. The party was attended by School staff and by staff members from other departments on campus. Ex colleagues/retirees were invited to share a glass of wine and banter of their experiences together over the years.
