Environmental Impacts of Human ActivityResearch in the School analyses the interaction of human and physical environments across a range of temporal and spatial scales, encompassing the natural, built and social worlds.

Rates and causes of change in environmental and natural earth systems are studied through the application of rigorous scientific methods, complemented by the interpretation of human perception, experience and agency.

The School aims to further our understanding of past and contemporary human communities and natural systems, and to guide policy in sustainable development, governance and conservation for the future.
