The School of Arts and Communication Design at Reading performed excellently in the most recent RAE (the national Research Assessment Exercise, 2008) and we are home to world-class researchers recognized for the quality and diversity of their work, who nurture and value the connections between academic research and teaching, combining research and practice alongside professional links with arts organisations and industry professionals. Resources and Facilities
We have specially equipped teaching spaces, including studio and exhibition space for art and design practice, state-of-the-art theatre and film & television production spaces, and a cinema. The Graduate School
PhD students based in the School of Arts and Communication Design are supported by the Graduate School who arrange a variety of development opportunities, including training sessions, careers advice and travel bursaries.
