Environmental, Physical and Life Sciences
Research in the Environmental, Physical and Life Sciences at Reading incorporates a wide range of subject areas and many innovative, cross-disciplinary collaborations. Research is supported by a wide range of funding agencies including research councils (especially EPSRC, NERC, MRC and BBSRC), charitable bodies, the EU and industry. There is extensive interaction with research organisations and other universities, much of it externally funded, and vigorous support from business and industry is typified by the Knowledge Transfer Centre which has won a number of national awards.
