Unit of Assessment 4: Psychology, Psychiatry and Neuroscience

Research from Reading submitted into Psychology, Psychiatry and Neuroscience includes that which has taken place within the School of Psychology and Clinical Language Sciences (PCLS). This research spans a number of disciplines, and is arranged into four interactive research groups, Psychopathology and Affective Neuroscience; Nutrition and Health; Perception and Action; Language and Cognition.  The School hosts two large-scale NHS-funded clinics, in addition to a number of research centres including the Winnicott Research Unit, Charlie Waller Institute of Evidence Based Psychological Treatments; the Centre for Integrative Neuroscience and Neurodynamics; and the Centre for Literacy and Multilingualism.
