COVID-19 Information
The Postal Service area in the basement of Whiteknights House is Covid19 secure. Please read all signs if you visit and take all prescribed precautions. Please do not approach Postal Service staff any more closely than is necessary and avoid entering spaces without invitation. It is better to email or phone in advance for clarification and to avoid wasted journeys.
Remember, the area is also regularly accessed by external couriers and other legitimate users from across the University. It is vital they all maintain a safe distance and don't spend unnecessary time in anybody else's space.
Staff will tell you, from a safe distance, what you need to do and where it is safe to go.
It is not possible to operate a safe queuing system in the confines of the approach to the Mail Shop. It will remain closed until further notice. We are investigating ways of safely re-introducing the service later.

The Mail Shop remains closed
We are operating with a skeleton staff but are able to provide our usual services for colleagues working on campus.
However, our van collection rounds will be less frequent, not necessarily visiting all locations everyday. We will deliver any items we receive according to a variable schedule and will collect outgoing items at the same time.
Urgent items can be brought to, or collected from, Whiteknights House. Please telephone 6530 in advance to arrange this. We can also arrange to collect heavy or large mailings from your building on request.
As before, we can post items to remote working colleagues, and collect on request. This will be charged to Departmental mail accounts.
