» Tamron 500mm f/8

Overview

This is one of our two Tamron Adaptall 2 lenses. these are lenses which are designed to work with all manual focus cameras so an extra adapter is required depending on which camera you want to use. This particular lens is BIG and has a very unusual design. The lens uses mirrors rather than a series of lenses to give a focal length of 500mm while only occupying 1/4 of the space of a normal 500mm lens! The lens also has a fixed aperture of f/8 which limits the creative potential of the lens. Handheld shooting of close subjects is not advised, you will end up with blurred photographs, for this, use a tripod.

Deposit to borrow: ?10 (Only if you are borrowing as a second lens with a camera, one lens is included in the camera deposit)
