Tonight (Tuesday 18th October 7pm) we will be having our first Continuing Photographers meeting, Understanding Photography, this will take place in HUMSS G74 (Ground Floor, in the HUMSS ‘Tower’). This session serves as a recap of the basics of photography and provides technical terminology for those in our Continuing Group particularly for those who are proficient at photography but are unsure as to some theory or for those who have fallen out of practice and are looking at getting back into the hobby.
Wednesday (19th October 7pm) will bring the second of our Beginners’ Sessions, “Introduction to Composition”, this will take place in Palmer 107 (Upstairs). This session covers the basics of preparing and aesthetics needed to take a good photograph as well as giving an understanding of the theory behind a pleasing shot such as the rule of thirds. Please note, all further beginners sessions will be in Palmer 107 from now on.

At both meetings we will be discussing the Residential and taking a £15 deposit for those wishing to go (this is currently limited to 7 from the Continuing Group and 13 from the Returning Group, but after Wednesday we will allow free allocation of remaining slots).
