Tomorrow (Tuesday 11th October 7pm) we will be having our Welcome Evening, this will take place in Palmer 109 (Upstairs Lecture Theatre). This is a meeting for all members to attend, and will consist of a short presentation about this term’s programme, as well as an explanation of the various opportunities and services the society offers. This will be followed by a short Q&A Session, and to round off we will be providing free pizza and light refreshments after 8pm to have an informal social.
Wednesday (12th October 7pm) will bring the first of our Beginners’ Sessions, “Introduction to Photography”, this will take place in HUMSS G74 (nr. Entrance 7/8). This session covers the basic terminology, concepts and theory of photography, and will help to give a good understanding of how to take a good photograph as well as explaining how to use your camera in manual modes.
