• Events for Spring Term 2010

  Speakers Programme. All sessions begin at 2.15pm on Tuesdays unless otherwise stated. Open to staff and graduatestudents; others may request special permission to attend from either the speaker or the organiser of the meeting. HumSS = Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Building (formerly Faculty of Letters); PB = Palmer Theatre; 273 = room 273, HumSS, 2nd floor, in the Department.

  Graduate Research Seminar. Sessions are at 11am on Thursdays in room 273, HumSS. Open to staff and PhD students in the Department.

  Graduate Class. Sessions are at 2pm on Thursdays in room 273, HumSS. Open to graduate students in the Department.

  Staff-Student Reading Group. Sessions are at 1pm on Thursdays in HumSS 273. Open to graduate students in the Department and interested visitors. This term's book: Timothy Williamson, The Philosophy of Philosophy.

  Graduate Discussion Group. Thursdays 1pm– 2.30pm, HumSS 273. A forum open to all philosophy graduate students (PhD and MA), where work may be presented and discussed in an informal atmosphere. Staff may attend at the speaker's request.
