Undergraduate (BA)

Interested in studying philosophy to degree-level? Find out the details of our courses, including teaching and feedback, entry requirements and career prospects.

We offer two single-honours degree courses: BA Philosophy, and BA Ethics, Value and Philosophy. We also offer several joint-degree courses.

Postgraduate Taught (MA)

We offer two intensive and respected Master's degree programmes, in Philosophy and in Ethics and Political Theory.

In one year (full-time) or two years (part-time), you will develop your philosophical skills and knowledge beyond the undergraduate level. MA students write several extended essays and a dissertation.
