Dr Andrew Challinor trained in physics and completed a PhD in forest microbiology . He is a Lecturer at Leeds University. Dr Peter Craufurd is a principal research fellow at the Plant Environment Laboratory Helen Greatrex is a postgraduate researcher with a background in astrophysics. She is working on seasonal prediction of crop productivity. Catherine van den Hoof is a postgraduate researcher. She has a background as an agricultural engineer with a MSc in GIS and remote sensing.
