Introduction

  Welcome to the Parallel Emergent and Distributed Architecture Laboratory, part of the School of Systems Engineering at the University of Reading. The group focuses on distributed computing and computational science encompassing simulation and modelling of complex systems, developing scalable algorithms, investigation of novel computer architectures from the perspectives of hardware design and software development in collaborative environments. Research is tested on exemplar applications ranging from environmental and biological problems to e-learning.
