The Henley Business School MBA has received another solid set of MBA ranking results this week, for both the Executive (Financial Times EMBA Rankings 2009) and Full-time (Economist Intelligence Unit Full-time MBA Rankings 2009) modes.

The Henley Full-time MBA also remained no. 1 for potential to network, breadth of alumni network and student quality. It is still 2nd in the world for post MBA salary and number 3 in the world for increase in salary.

Its overall positions remain very similar, with the Executive MBA still ranked 44th in the world but now 6th in the UK and 15th in Europe (5th and 13th last year). The Henley Full-time MBA remains at number 4 in the UK, number 9 in Europe and is now ranked 21 in the world (20 last year).

"The consistency represents quite an achievement in a year of considerable change both internally and potentially for our programme members and alumni," said Professor Chris Bones, Dean of the Henley Business School. "Some of our world ranking positions are a real achievement when we consider the size, complexity and shifts in the global MBA market."

Professor Bones continues: "While we continue to feel proud of our achievements on the world stage we know rankings play a part in the decision making process of potential candidates. It is vital that we learn the lessons from what the results tell us. The areas that are highlighted by the survey as requiring attention remain our priority to ensure we improve on these results year on year. Our intake numbers across all modes this autumn are strong and in some cases at an all-time high and we are committed to ensure that MBA programme members have an experience with us that exceeds their expectations.

"As always my thanks go to those programme members and alumni who spend their time completing the all important surveys every year, as without their input we would not receive such great results."
