Exhibition Launch: Enemies of the State Launch

Launch event: exhibition exploring the detention of Irish patriots in Reading Prison following the 1916 Easter Rising. Archive materials will shed light on this practice of detention without trial and open up the stories of these ‘Enemies of the State’. Expert speakers will explore this history of internment and ask whether there are parallels with our contemporary post 9/11 landscape.
