Short Bio
I joined IWLP at the University of Reading in 2001. Prior to that, I taught Japanese full-time for 5 years at the University of Oxford ( B.A. in Japanese), and then for 2 years at the University of Essex (M.A in Japanese). I was teaching English at universities in Japan, before I came to the U.K. to study Applied Linguistics on Rotary International Scholarship.

My particular interest lies in the development of materials for students from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds. I am a member of AULC (Association of University Language Centres) and UKALTA (UK Association for Language Testing and Assessment).

A Few Personal Comments
I enjoy nature, and also spending time with my family.
