This beautifully decorated ledge-type Gypsy caravan, made in Reading in about 1910, is currently on temporary display at the Museum of English Rural Life (MERL). It is on loan from Reading Museum and will return to its normal home at nearby Blake’s Lock Museum once refurbishment has been completed in 2003.
