 Phlebotomy (blood tests)

Appointments for blood tests are available daily before 10.40am. A walk in clinic is available on Wednesday between 9.30am – 10.30am without an appointment – we will endeavour to see everyone who 'walks in' for this clinic but occasionally it may be necessary to make a future appointment if time does not permit.

Asthma

Appointments are available with our trained asthma nurses for all asthmatics for advice and supervision of treatment. The doctor may also refer you to the nurses for diagnostic tests and changes of treatment.

Diabetes

Appointments are available with our Diabetes nurse and doctor to provide you with a comprehensive and individual screening & monitoring service

Travel

Appointments are available to provide you with the latest immunisation requirements and health information advice for the countries you will be visiting using the MASTA database.

For more information see: Travelling Abroad and our selection of  Travel Leaflets.

Remember to plan well in advance for your travels, as some immunisations need to be started several weeks before you travel. You will need to complete a Travel_Advice form prior to being given an appointment.

The Medical Practice is also an approved Yellow fever Immunisation Centre

Hypertension

Appointments are available for those requiring annual reviews for hypertension. The nurse will check your blood pressure & urine sample, review your medication and offer lifestyle modification advice

General Clinics

Appointments are available for dressings, blood pressure checks, injections & immunisations, removal of stitches and clips, ear syringing, ECGs and other nursing procedures.

Other Clinics & Services

  • Antenatal clinics and child development clinics are held in conjunction with our attached midwife.
