UCAS visit day

The next UCAS visit days are on:

  • Wednesday February 29th (Mathematics)
  • Wednesday March 14th (joint degrees)
  • Saturday March 17th (Mathematics and Statistics)
  • Wednesday March 21st (Mathematics)

The formal activities of each visit day begin at 11.30am, and you should plan to arrive in Room 112 of the Mathematics Department between 11:00am and 11.30am. There will be short talks on aspects of the courses and the University, and a visit to a hall of residence and a short tour of the campus (weather permitting). You will also be taken for lunch by some of our current students. There will be ample opportunity to talk with staff and students. A short talk (approximately 20 minutes) will also be given for anyone accompanying you, with an opportunity to ask questions, as well as a visit to a hall of residence and a tour of the campus. The programme will finish before 3:30pm.
In the meantime you might like to obtain more information about our department by visiting our undergraduate course pages.

How to find us

The Mathematics department can be found on the map of Whiteknights campus  (the nearest campus entrance is through Pepper Lane). You should allow 30-40 minutes to get by bus from Reading Railway station to the department.

We cannot guarantee a parking space but there are many car parks on campus; so find one in the general area of the Mathematics building and walk over.
