Entry requirements
Entry requirements differ slightly between courses but generally students are expected to have obtained an upper second class honours degree, or equivalent, which includes a good grounding in Mathematics (or for the MSc in Biometry, in Mathematics or Statistics).
Students whose first language is not English are required to provide evidence of proficiency in English. The Centre for Applied Language Studies (CALS) offers pre-sessional courses in English for academic study for students and the University's Language Resource Centre (LRC) runs in-sessional English language and study support programme. You are expected to have obtained a 6.5 in score on IELTS, 600 written in TOEFL or at least 250 in computer-based TOEFL.
Please ensure that you meet the UK immigration requirements before entering the country. If you are not a national of the European Union, it is likely that you are required to obtain a Visa before you travel. Full details of the current terms, conditions and fees for Visas may be obtained from the UK visa website.
