Campus tour
Reading has one of the most beautiful university campuses in the UK. If you can't make our Open Days and would like to see it for yourself, book on to one of our regular Campus Tours. The tours take place on our main Whiteknights Campus and run almost all year round on Wednesday afternoons. Altough all students are welcome on the campus tours, they are primarily aimed at undegraduate students, if you are a postgraduate student and would like to visit us please contact Elisabeth Bagg (e.bagg@reading.ac.uk) for further information.
There are upcoming campus tours on the following dates:
Wednesday 3 March
Wednesday 28 April
Wednesday 12, 19 and 26 May
Wednesday 9 June
The tours start at 13:00 and normally finish by around 15:00. They comprise the following:
13:00-13:30 Short introductory talk about the University and talk from a current student on what life is like at Reading
13:30-15:00 A guided tour of the Whiteknights campus taken by current students
Unfortunately during term time we are unable to show you around our Halls of Residences as there will be students living there. However, if you would like to find out more about our accommodation, why not take a look at this short film:
Life in Halls of Residence - A Short Film
Please note that the talks will start at 1pm prompt so you will need to allow some time to find a parking place and make your way across to meeting point before the start of the tour. The timings above are given as a guide only, if you are running late then please let us know as soon as possible so that we can advise you. Any visitors who arrive after the guided tours have left will be advised to come to the Student Recruitment Office (room 131, Whiteknights House) where we can provide you with a self-guided tour.
How to book a place
