Checking your account
It is possible to view lists of your own loans, holds and bookings using Unicorn. You can also cancel holds and bookings, and renew your loans.
How to login
Login to your account using the direct link on the Library homepage. Or login via Unicorn by clicking on the My account option at the top of the screen. If this option isn't appearing you need to logon to Unicorn using the login boxes in the top right of the screen. University members should enter their University username and password. Non-members enter their Library number and PIN. What is my PIN?
What information will you see?
You will see the Account summary screen. These are the options you may see:
- Checkouts - gives a list items you have borrowed, their current due dates, the number of times you have renewed them, along with any fines you are accruing if they are overdue. Items may also be listed as "recalled" - what are recalls? If you want to renew any items just click in the checkbox next to the title and click on the "Renew selected items" button.
- Previous Checkouts - shows you a list of the items you have borrowed over the past 6 months
- Holds - gives a list of your current holds, your place in the queue for each one, and whether they are available to collect. Find out about placing a hold using Unicorn
- Requests - shows any inter-library loan requests
- Bookings - a list of your bookings for Course Collection items. Find out about booking Course Collection items using Unicorn
