Maths Support

We're here to help if you're finding any mathematical topic difficult during the transition to University study.

Maths Support is a drop-in service which is available for help with any mathematical topic you need for your studies: eg basic arithmetic, percentages, formulae, logarithms, differentiation, integration, etc. Our experienced mathematicians can help you with any problems you may have, and build your confidence in a relaxed and friendly environment.

We have an extensive list of worksheets, guide and links to video tutorials which you can access at any time to practise and develop your mathematical skills.

We also offer regular Wednesday workshops and other events on a range of mathematical topics.

Easter vacation 2017

The service will shortly be moving to the URS Building, with the plan that we should be fully operational there by Tues 18 April 2017. We expect to be open for the usual vacation hours in the Library in the week beginning 27 March. For the rest of the vacation, we will maintain the drop-in service whenever possible. You may wish to call first if you are travelling in to campus.
