- Intute: Geography
Intute: Geography provides free access to high quality evaluated internet resources. It is further subdivided into four sections: General Geography, Human Geography, Physical Geography, and Techniques and Approaches. It forms part of the online subject resource called Intute which covers resources from the sciences, social sciences, arts and humanities. Also of interest for Geographers is Intute: Environment.

The Geo-Guide is an Internet-based subject gateway to scholarly relevant information in earth science, geography and mining.
- Academic Info - Geography
One of a series of subject information gateways forming part of Academic Info, a directory of Internet resources tailored to a higher education audience. Each subject guide is an annotated listing of the best general Internet sites in the field, as well as a gateway to more advanced research tools. Includes links to online publications, language and study aids, reference materials, database archives, virtual libraries, tutorials, as well as other educational materials. Teaching and learning
- Higher Education Academy Geography, Earth and Environmental Sciences (GEES) Subject Centre
One of 24 subject centres based in higher education institutions throughout the UK which aims to promote high quality learning and teaching through the development and transfer of good practices in all subject disciplines, and to provide a 'one-stop shop of learning and teaching resources and information for the HE community. It includes the GEES Resource Database which is a database intended to provide information on resources covering all aspects of learning, teaching and assessment for those who teach and/or support learning in geography, earth, and environmental sciences higher education. The Higher Education Academy subject centre for Hospitality, Leisure, Sport and Tourism may also contain resources of interest to geographers.

- Royal Geographical Society with the Institute of British Geographers
The UK's learned Society for geography and geographers founded in 1830 for the advancement of geographical science. The site provides information on Membership membership, Publications, Events, and its Collections.
- Geographical Association
The Geographical Association is the national association for geography teachers providing information and resources for them and students of geography. It provides information about membership, publications and events as well as links to geography related sites.
- Ordnance Survey
The national mapping agency of Great Britain
- The Royal Meteorological Society
Gives information about membership, also contains up-to-date news about the Society's activities and has details about its Journals.
- US Geological Survey
Focuses on Science areas: Biology, Geography, Geology, Geospatial and Water. Also has a section on natural hazards.
Includes access to full-text of many USGS publications through the
Publications Warehouse. Includes Bulletins, Professional papers and Watersupply papers.
