Museum of English Rural Life (MERL)

MERL is located on the University’s London Road site, the entrance is on Redlands Road. It is a useful source for folk stories, rural fiction and biographical material.

Poetry Library at the Royal Festival Hall

The Poetry Library is the most comprehensive collection of modern and contemporary poetry. It houses books, pamphlets, audio visual materials for reference and loan; magazines, press cuttings, photographs, posters and postcards for reference.

University of Reading Chaplaincy Library

The University Chaplaincy Library contains a small selection of books relating to literature and religion. A book list is available to download from the Chaplaincy website.
