Construction Management and Engineering Resource Room
The School of Construction Management and Engineering also has its own Resource Room, located in Room 2n19 of the URS Building. The Resource Room holds a small number of current periodicals, product and cost information, undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations, and provides photocopying and study space facilities for students registered with the school.

IMechE Information and Library Service
This is one of the largest collections of information in mechanical engineering. Non-members are welcome with quick enquiries or to visit the library for reference use. Further information can be found on the IMechE Information and Library Service website.
Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors Library
The RICS library holds a comprehensive collection of books, journals, audio and video tapes relating to land, property and construction. The library catalogue is an important source of bibliographical information as journal articles are indexed individually, it is located on the RICS Library web site.
RICS does offer student membership and there are a number of library services open to members. Further information about joining RICS can be found on their web site.
Royal Institute of British Architects Library
The RIBA library is the largest and most comprehensive resource in the UK for research and information on all aspects of architecture. The RIBA Library Catalogue is a valuable bibliographical source.
The library is open to the public, however a number of services are offered to members of the association. Further Information for students about joining RIBA can be found on the RIBA web site.
The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) Library and Information Service
Based in Ascot, the CIOB Library offers one of the largest collections of construction management literature in the world.
Membership of the CIOB is free for full time students - see the CIOB membership page for information.
The Library holds a wide range of material, ranging from electronic journals and articles to books and magazines dating from the 1800s to the present day. You can access the catalogue and online services remotely 24 hours a day, seven days a week, via the Chartered Institute of Building Library website and their professional librarians are available to help you either in person or over the phone during opening hours
