Museum of English Rural Life (MERL)

The Library of the Museum of English Rural Life, is a reference collection of books, pamphlets and periodical volumes on the history of English agriculture and rural life. Areas of particular concern are the agricultural engineering, servicing and processing industries, the history of agricultural tools and equipment, rural industries and crafts, the history of the food industry, the social history of the countryside and descriptions of rural life.
