A new hub for educational multimedia - MediaHub!

MediaHub is an online collection of video, audio and still images all licensed for educational use, including over 56,000 images and 600 hours of film. It incorporates the Newsfilm Online news clips and allows users to search across several other external image, sound and video collections. MediaHub includes content from ITN, Channel 4 News, Gaumont News, Getty Images, Wellcome Film and various other collections.

Search and discover

Do a quick keyword search using the search box on the homepage - MediaHub's type ahead feature will provide you with some options. You can limit your search to Video, Image or Audio results.

 

On the results page, mouse over the thumbnails and a full description box will display, giving you more information about the image or clip. You can use the facets bar to the left of the results page to refine your results, by media type, collection, subject or date.

 

Other ways to explore

You can also explore the collections by subject category. Start with a broad subject category and use the topics provided to narrow down your selection.
